It is several years later - Not long before Dr. O'Neill passed I had just been to see her and was saddened when I found out she passed away. To her family, and friends - although you miss her so very much, I know you have many good memories of her that hopefully lessen the sadness that goes with her not with you each and every day. But please also know she touched so many others that you probably don't know about. Her goodness radiated. One never knows how something someone says or does may impact another. Margaret O'Neill was a very good soul and touched my heart and soul with her kindness, passion and highest standard of quality for her patient's care, supplemented with her outstanding professional expertise. She listened to my fears related to dermatology and skin issues and unselfishly took care of my medical needs. Thank you for being you Margaret O'Neill - you cannot be replaced, but your kindness I can carry with me and do my best to pass on as you did. God Bless you.

I was as shocked as everyone to hear of her passing. I also found her to be caring, energetic and had a great connection with her patients.

The last time I saw her was for some treatments to help me look my best for my wedding. Our engagement was short and not realizing that some of the "work" would need a few days to settle down, there was not a lot of extra time before the wedding. She was to enthusiastic for my nuptials and said everyone should look their best on their wedding day. She had her team reschedule other patients, and even came in at 7:30 for one rescheduled patient. All to ensure I looked my best for my wedding. This shows how vested she was in her patients care, well being and happiness.

I'll never forget this. It's not something doctors typically do for patients. She was one-of-a-kind. She is missed.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Dr. O'Neill's passing. I was asked recently by a good friend for a reference to my dermatologist whom I had expressed to several people was excellent and not only that but was a kind and warm person who had cured me of my acne when I saw her from 2008-2010, when I found this page and her obituary. I remember as others on this page do her kind eyes and gentle smile and bubbly personality. She was the best doctor I have seen. My belated condolences to her family and may her soul continue to shine a light on this world from beyond.

I'm sad to read that Dr. O'Neill passed away two years ago. O'Neill was my dermatologist during my stay in DC 2008-2011. I saw her at least 20 times during those three years due to a skin condition, and remember nice chats with her while she was cutting my skin and sewing me up again. She was absolutely one of my favorite doctors.

I was Dr O'Neill's Office Manager for a couple of years, she was the best doctor, most caring, a wonderful person. My heart sank when I found out about her passing away. I was about to surprise her with a visit. My deepest sympathy to her family. Dr O'Neill will be always in my heart.

Deepest sympathies. I was working in DC from 2002-2005, and throughout, relied on Dr O'Neill's sympathetic, intelligent, witty and absolutely competent care and practical advice. A friend just told me that she could not find a good doctor in DC and I told her I'd look for mine for her. Could not remember the name or the face but remember it was Chevy Chase. Sadly found this page, and I do now remember those big sympathetic bright eyes. I'm sorry. Ariel, Singapore
