On June 1, 2014 in Washington, DC. She was a lifelong area resident, taught Special Education, managed medical offices and was known to many as a "shop girl" in Georgetown and on Capitol Hill. She retired to care for her mother, Evelyn, who died in 2012. Linda is survived by her husband, Laurence; sisters, Vicki (James) Pierson, Carol Watts and Nancy (John) Moss; beloved niece, Dana (Will) Moss; and nephew, Ian Moss. Linda was preceded in death by daughters of a previous marriage, Valerie and Andrea Crabill, and her brother Denny.
Visitation will be held at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, INC., 5130 Wisconsin Ave., N.W., Washington, DC on Thursday, June 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Friday June 6, 10 a.m. at Rock Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Cat Sanctuary, 32600 Landing Ln., Del Mar, MD 21875.
