Milton John Stickles, Jr., known to his friends and colleagues as "Jack" died at his home in Gaithersburg, MD on February 17, 2014 after a long illness, one month short of his 86th birthday. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Copeland Stickles; his daughter Mary Stickles (Edward Schack) of Zagreb, Croatia; his son James Stickles (Suzy Hopper) of Atlanta, GA; and grandchildren Elizabeth Schack, Willie Schack and Scott Stickles.
