On July 5, 2010 of Bethesda, MD. Beloved wife of the late Bryce C. Smink; devoted mother of Marvel Richards (Peter), Bryce William Smink (Patti), John Clifton Smink (Haven), Paul Edward Smink (Vicki), Connie VanLieshout, Cathy Getman (Rick), Chris Cordell (Tom), Phyllis Vita (Joe) and George M. Smink; grandmother of 25 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ned Cox (Jean) of Sarasota, FL. Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 9 at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be on Sunday, July 11 at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 8300 Old Georgetown Rd., Bethesda, MD at 1:30 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Music Department of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Joseph Gawler's Sons, Inc., Washington, DC.
