Robin grew up in Ferndale MI., the oldest in a family of 5 children. She attended Ferndale High School and then graduated with a B.A. degree from Wayne State University.
She had a long career working for the US Department of Labor in Detroit and then in DC where she lived most of her adult life.
Robin was a people person. She was very outgoing and was active within her large community of friends as well as the First Congregational UCC in DC.
She loved vibrant color as reflected in both her clothes and apartment. Her home was filled with art and books. She was an avid reader drawing from a variety of genres. She also enjoyed the cultural aspects of DC with season tickets for the Symphony along with various dance and theater performances.
Robin is preceded in death by her father, Otto Hall, her mother Jean Hall and her brother Karl Hall. She is survived by her siblings Marlene (Jim), Fred (Lillian) and Harold (Lori).
Robin had a unique way of interacting in this world. She will be missed by her family and friends.
A memorial will be held at the First Congregational Church UCC, 945 G St. NW, Washington DC 20001 on Saturday July 26 at 3 P.M.
