Mama I can’t believe you been gone from my world 5 years:-/ it’s soo many things I want to say to you.  I been able to cope without you being on my side everyday by the strength of God. Otherwise I would not have made it. You are so missed and I’m a reflection of you, everywhere I go I will continue to shine your light bright as a diamond 💎. I love you for always loving me no matter what. ❤️

As we approach one year, the feeling still has not settled. I'm not sure there will ever come a day where I will feel that I don't need you here. Grandma I never wanted to say good bye to you, because I never wanted to let you go. Heaven couldn't wait...and while we will forever miss you, you will forever live through us.

Grandma, you leaving has proven to be EXTREMELY hard. I try so hard to fight back tears, at every thought of you, every time I remember you won't be home when I get off, or when Raegan tells me how much she wants to see you and misses you. You are forever with us, but I wish you were here to tell me "I'm ok baby." While I wish you never had to go, I find comfort in knowing you no longer have to suffer, and I will forever admire your ability to smile even during your weakest moments. Grandma on March 4, 2013 I lost someone who was always in my corner, but gained someone who now can watch over us all from above....to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. I Love you Grandma. Thanks to all for your kind words and prayers (we need them).

She was a outstanding mother/grandmother to me she lives on threw us. I Love so much grandma. Until we meet again.

Ruth was  my trusted right arm during the nearly 20 years we worked together at VOA. But also she was a friend and confidant on issues beyond the workplace. She was rightfully proud of her family and worked very very hard for them to have everything she could give.

Michelle and family words can't express what you must be feeling right now.  Part of my heart aches for all of you but the other part rejoices because Mama Ruth is no longer suffering in pain.  The spiritual and logical part is celebrating the joy in knowing that she is with our heavenly father.  I know that a piece of you is no longer in your reach but that piece will always be in your heart.  All of you are blessed because you shared precious time with Mama Ruth.  I hope the memories will soothe the pain.  I'm here for all of you if you need me.  I love you all.

GOD is the reason why even in pain, I smile in confusion I understand, in betrayal I trust and in fear I continue to fight.  It's amazing how you make me smile mom.  All my life you have shown me what love is, how to create it and that a loving heart never dies. You are gone to be with The Lord no more suffering or pain. I'm so gonna miss you. We never said bye to each other it was always changed too see ya later. I love you and see ya later. This is so hard guys. God give me strength. Thank you all for the wonderful things you said about mom. She was all that and feisty :-) with a love deeper than a sea. My best friend my mommy.

I met Ruth many years ago when we both worked at VOA.

Ruth was one of those people who kept you laughing at some of her opinions (for lack of a better word).  She did not hesitate to put someone in their place if she felt they needed it.

Ruth was a wonderful woman and I thought very highly of her.  Keep all your happy memories and they will eventually win out over your sadness.  Take care.

Monique, Michelle and family I am praying with you and for your all. She raised two beautiful strong woman. She will always be with you watching over you all.

I am saddened to hear of your loss. I hold all of you safe in my heart at this time of sadness. Death is not a period, it's only a comma because you have hopes of a reunion with her one day. Keep her tucked safely in your hearts. God give all of the family the strength and guidance they will need during this time.

Lean heavily on God's comfort and keep trusting Him but know that it's okay to feel sadness for her absence. Just know death means heaven, happiness, and most important Him(God). May God's love make your grief bearable. Wishing your family strength and peace.

She loved her children and shared many stories with us as they grew up.  Her spirit will continue to live on in everyone who knew her.
