
Anna M. Grisafe, 76, of Fair Lawn, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. Born on October 10, 1949, in Passaic, NJ, she was the beloved daughter of the late Benjamin Grisafe and Eleanor (née Rosetti).
Anna was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, April A. Emge, and her cherished grandson, Eric Kowalski and his wife Samantha Houghtaling , who brought immense joy and pride to her life. She is also survived by her loving siblings: Joseph Grisafe and his wife Ruby, Paulie Grisafe and his wife Pam, Benny Grisafe, Philip Grisafe and his wife Dana, Michael Grisafe and his wife Lisa, Jennie Schmitz and her husband Rod, Michelle Grisafe and her husband Ed Unger, Frannie Flynn and her husband Glen, and Donna Grisafe and her husband Homer Spangler. She is also survived by close friend Hope and Stan Pelzcar, and many nieces and nephews.
For 37 years, Anna worked as a Meat Wrapper for ShopRite, where she was known for her strong work ethic, warm personality, and dedication to her coworkers and customers. After retiring, she embraced the simple joys of life—days at the beach, shopping trips, dining out, and, above all, playing the lottery, a pastime she absolutely loved.
Anna was also a diehard Yankees fan, cheering on her team with unwavering loyalty throughout her life.
