Christopher D. Zenker

Christopher D. Zenker, of Washingtonville, NY, died suddenly on January 18, 2015 at home, He was 53. Christopher was born in New York City on July 28, 1961 to Henry and Beverly Engels Zenker. Christopher was a Power Plant Technician at West Point. Christopher was a loving son, brother and uncle. He loved nature, trees, meteorology and working with his father and brother in the Genetic Genealogy Community. Christopher was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Our Lady of Lourdes Council 5890, Washingtonville, NY, he was an Usher at St. Mary’s Church of Washingtonville and he also participated in Community Theater. Christopher is survived by his parents Henry and Beverly Zenker, of Washingtonville, NY; siblings, Stephen Zenker, of Washingtonville, NY, Drew and his wife Christina Zenker, of Lehighton, PA, Michael and his wife Mary Zenker of Albany, NY, and Jane and her husband Jeff Richter of, Columbiana, OH, seven nieces, four nephews and one great nephew. Visitation will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 5-8PM, at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home 20 North St. Washingtonville, NY 10992. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 23, 2015, at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery also of Washingtonville, NY.
