Cora Elsie Decker

Cora Elsie Decker of Hamptonburgh, NY entered into rest on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Valley View Nursing Home, Middletown, NY. She was 83.Cora was born in Washingtonville, NY on August 29, 1928 to Courtney and Loretta (Dobbins) Ferris. She was the widow of David R. Decker, Sr. Cora was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Otterkill Fire Co. She is survived by her loving sons: Daniel James and his wife, April Decker of Campbell Hall, NY, Daryl Lynn and his wife, Debbie Decker of Port Jervis and Douglas Wayne Decker of Campbell Hall; daughter-in-law, Barbara Decker of Goshen, NY; brother, Robert Ferris of New Windsor, NY; grandchildren: Beth Profiro, Jody, Shawn and Kyle Decker, Donald and Christopher Smith and Diana and Nick Pitre, as well as nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Cora was predeceased by her son David R. Decker, Jr. There will be no services at this time. Cremation is private.
