Elizabeth Avila-Brown

Elizabeth Avila-Brown of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest with her family by her side on February 18, 2015. She was 56. Elizabeth was born in Bayshore, NY on March 29, 1958 to Angel Luis and Ana Luisa Ramos. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be dearly missed by her family. Elizabeth worked as an Art Director with AHRC, Middletown, NY. Elizabeth was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of America. She dedicated her life to serving and giving inspiration to others. She was a true artist even at a very young age; Elizabeth truly had a passion for life.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: Michael Martinez of Newburgh, NY, Christian Roldan of Middletown, NY and Lyana Roldan of Albany, NY; also survived by two loving grandsons; a brother, Edward Avila and Carmen Avila Paskewitz, both of Middletown, NY. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 21st with a service to follow at 1 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St. Washingtonville, NY 10992. Cremation will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Thomas A. Murray of the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 845-496-9106.
