Irene Baldwin of Beacon, NY entered into rest on December 19, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 92. She was born in Peekskill, NY on July 10, 1918 to Kalman Bohuczky and Josephine Wirag.

Irene was affectionately known as Mimi. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved baking, cooking, helping others and she lived for her grandchildren. Irene bravely battled her illness with passion and dignity for the sake of her family.

Irene was the widow of William Baldwin after 49 years of marriage.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda and husband Frank Collins of Palm Coast, FL; granddaughter, Rena and her husband Kevin Nicastri; great-grandchildren, Joseph DeLena, and Nicholas Maki.

Irene was predeceased by her brother, Kalman Bohuczky; sister, Josephine Lancaster; niece, Carol Lancaster and nephew, Kalman “Dukie” Bohuczky

A Memorial Services will be held Friday, December 24, 2010, 10am at St. John’s Church, 31 Willow Street, Beacon, NY.
