Josephine A. Maidhof

Josephine A. Maidhof of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on October 31, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center; she was 83. Josephine was born in the Bronx on June 26, 1928 to Joseph and Mildred Curro. She was a member of the Blooming Grove Seniors, the Blue and Gold Seniors, and a lifelong Yankee fan who also loved bingo and trips to Atlantic City.

She is survived by her sons, William J. and his wife, Petrina A. Maidhof of the Bronx, Robert C. Maidhof of Shohola, PA; her daughter, JoAnne C. and her husband, Robert J. Hoffmann of Washingtonville; grandchildren, William M. and his wife, Allison Maidhof, Michael F. and John W. Hoffmann; great granddaughter, Ava E. Maidhof also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Angelo Curro. Visitation will be on Sunday November 6 from 4-7 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home in Washingtonville. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday November 7 at St. Stephens Church 676 Kearny Ave., Kearny, NJ. Cremation will follow and be private.
