Linnea A. McKay

Linnea A. McKay of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on February 16, 2012 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. She was 68. Linnea was born in Tarrytown, NY on August 21, 1943 to William A. and Catherine Nordback. She was the wife of Lawrence F. McKay. Linnea was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved knitting and crocheting. She was also a nurse’s aide at Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen. She is survived by her loving husband Lawrence F. McKay of Washingtonville; Sons, Michael J. and his wife Elizabeth McKay of Warwick, NY and Lawrence C. McKay of New Windsor, NY; brother-in-laws, Kevin and his wife Nancy McKay of NYC, NY, James and his wife Mary McKay of Brookhaven, MS; grandchildren, Logan M. and Carter L. McKay as well as many nieces and nephews. Linnea was predeceased by her stepmother Jolie Nordback and sister-in-law Pamela McKay. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 5-9pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012, 11:30am at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Valhalla, NY.
