Vittorio Marino 94, of Washingtonville, New York, passed away on August 31, 2016. Vittorio was born in Popoli, Italy on June 30, 1922 to Vincenzo and Virginia (Campanelli) Marino; Vittorio is survived by his devoted wife Elisabetta; beloved father to Vincent and his wife Nora of Queens, NY, Marina and her husband Edward Callis of Washingtonville, NY; Cherished grandfather to Caitlin and Joseph Callis. Vittorio was preceded by two sisters Wanda and Rosina. Vittorio was the proud owner and operator of V & V Collision in Brooklyn, NY.
He had a talent and expertise in restoring antique automobiles for which he was renowned. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter who had a great passion and love of gardening and traveling.
Visitation will be Sunday September 4, 2016 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY; A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday September 5, 2016, 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church, 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville, NY; Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Washingtonville.
