

AUGUSTA - Donald Scott Clark Sr., 46, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 surrounded by family at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. Donald was born April 22, 1970 to Donald and Donna (Leeman) Clark in Bangor, Maine and had lived for many years in Winslow. He was a graduate of the Bangor Christian Academy. After graduation Donald began service in the Air Force while also starting his family of seven sons.
Donald served in the Air Force as a support technician at both Eielson AFB, Alaska and Loring AFB, Maine form 1989 to 1999.
Donald was a loving and caring father to his sons who took priority in his life. He enjoyed supporting his sons in all sports and school events. Donald was especially proud of the Winslow Raiders Football team as there was often one of his sons on the roster. When not actively rooting on Winslow at Poulin Field, Donald enjoyed traveling, attending country concerts, fishing and helping his community. Donald especially enjoyed trips to Acadia National Park and road trips to Florida with his sons.
Donald is survived by his mother, Donna Clark; step-mother Marcia Clark; brothers, Roger and Bryan Clark; and sons, Don Jr, Derek, Mike, Tommy, Alec, Jacob and Robby Clark. Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald H. Clark.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Veilleux Funeral Home from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Winslow High School Booster Club.
