James Morrissette

2010 at his residence. James was born in Waterville, December 29, 1945 a son of

Lucien and Gloria (Fecteau) Morrissette. He was educated in Winslow schools and

graduated from Winslow High School.

James served in the US Navy and worked for many years as a pressman and foreman

for the Morning Sentinel and Kennebec Journal printing operation. James is a

member of St. John the Baptist Church, the Waterville Elks Lodge and the Calumet

Club. James was an avid movie collector and enjoyed sharing with his family.

His family and friends will remember him as a very sweet man always willing to

lend a helping hand. Others knew him as the kind man sitting on his swing waving

to friends and cars going by.

Surviving are two children, a son Roger Morrissette and his wife Bobbie of Winslow and a daughter Denise Beale of Mississippi. A brother Paul Morrissette and his wife Joyce of Winslow; five grandchildren Dina, Kristie, Christopher, Kiara and Kylee; a niece Tanya Verzoni and husband Chris.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday October 21, 2010 at St. John the Baptist

Church, Monument Street, Winslow. Burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic

Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville.

Arrangements are under the directions and care of Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm

Street, Waterville.
