

Augusta- Lucienne Lorraine (Quimby) Paradis, 85, passed away on June 13, 2013 at Capitol City Manor in Augusta. She was born in Madison, ME on December 9, 1927, a daughter of Cecil and Ruth (Dow) Quimby. Lucienne graduated from Madison High School Class of 1945. She worked for many years as a Nurses Aid for the former Sisters Hospital and Seton Hospital; both in Waterville. She loved to read and watch T.V. Lucienne was an avid Red Sox fan!
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Leonard J. Paradis Sr. 2 children; Ruth Smith and Leonard J. Paradis Jr..
Lucienne is survived by 5 children: Dean Paradis and wife Ann, David D. Paradis and wife Terry, Mary-Margaret A. Paradis and companion Gary Bulger, Barbara E. (Paradis) Lunn and companion Vincent Dostie, and Michael A. Paradis; 4 sisters: Beverly Tibbetts, Helen Durgin, Linda Smith and Cathy Johnson; special friends: Sophie Prentiss, Joanne and Tim Grignon, Brian and Donna Paradis and Robert and Diane Abbott; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the entire staff of Capitol City Manor and Health Reach Hospice for their exceptional care that they gave to Lucienne.
At Lucienne’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Lucienne’s memory to charity of one’s choice.
