

Madelyn lived in Winslow all her life, where she shared an impressive 65 years of marriage with her husband, Daniel Dunbar. She enjoyed gardening, as she always loved her flowers and. She was very fond of the birds outside, where she would watch them at her feeders, but most importantly, loved her grandchildren. She did her best to make sure she saw them every day.
Madelyn is predeceased by her parents and her husband; as well as her brothers, Romeo, Robert and Donald and her sisters Beatrice Paradis, Albertine Allain, Cyprienne Lemieux, and Lorraine Lemieux.
She is survived by her children Dr. Paul and wife Robin Dunbar, Bonnie Dunbar, and Rebecca Dunbar; brother, Felix; sisters, Constance Lemieux, Jeannette Lemieux; grandchildren Peter and Daniel Dunbar, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday, June 17 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Veilleux Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. John Church in Winslow, followed by a burial at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery on Grove St. in Waterville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madelyn's name to the Waterville Humane Society, 100 Webb Road Waterville ME 04901
