Paula Paoletti Gray

East Vassalboro - Paula Paoletti Gray, 64, of East Vassalboro passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on April 8th, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. surrounded by family. She was born in Bangor, ME on September 17th, 1952 to Martha (Pelkey) and Raymond Paoletti of East Millinocket.

She was a longtime employee of both L.L.Bean and North Country Rivers, but most people in East Vassalboro will remember her from her many years working at the town’s corner store and local Post Office. She always enjoyed engaging with her customers, learning a little about their lives and bringing a little extra joy to their days.

She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Gary. Together they had three loving children: Jeremy of East Vassalboro, ME; Joshua of Oakland, CA; and Erin of East Vassalboro, ME. She is also survived by her four siblings: Stephen and his wife Ann of Costa Mesa, CA; Karen and her husband Mickey of Hudson, NH; Thomas and his wife Ellen of Gilford, CT; Frankie and his husband Jim of Phoenix, AZ; her mother-in-law Prudence; sister-in-law Lynne; brother-in-law Doug, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
