

Educated at Waterville schools, Bob served his country in the US Army during the Korean War from 1952-1954. Bob worked as an auto & marine mechanic at various local businesses throughout his working career. He was a member of the Winslow VFW. He enjoyed boating & snowmobiling with family and friends at the year round home on China Lake. Bob had a sense of humor. His comments would always make you laugh. What made him special was his patient, gentle and compassionate personality.
Surviving is his long time companion, Gloria Flannery; 2 loving children, a son Dana Bouchard and his wife Anna of Oakland and a daughter Donna Whitney and her husband Bruce of Farmington; a sister Elizabeth “Betty” Berard and her husband Julian of Winslow; 4 grandchildren, Cindy and Michael Bouchard and Jeremy and Amanda Whitney; 1 great-grandson Trenton Matthew Murray; as well as several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, his wife Geraldine (Giroux) Bouchard, 3 brothers, Edgar Jr., Richard and Paul Bouchard.
A special thank you to Health Reach Hospice Care who made his last month’s more comfortable.
Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, April 4th at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday April 5th at Notre Dame Church, Silver Street, Waterville. A Military Burial, to be scheduled at a later date, will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville.
