He was preceded by his parents and his brother Douglas.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Barton of Freedom, his children, Stephen of Whitefield, Cynthia, and Mark of Auburn, Shari of Windsor, David of Waterville, and John of Connecticut; his stepchildren Richard Stump of Pitston, Shelly Pooler of Palermo and Tara Ferguson of Freedom; his brothers-in-law; Wayne Lombard and his wife Patti, Clifford Lombardo, Brian Fuller, Richard Lombard and his wife Kathleen, and sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Passera and her husband William, Paulette Fuller and her husband Carl all of CT, Doreen Perrin and her husband Dave of VT, Lisa Lombardo and Tracy Berry of MA. and, Judy Hjort and her husband Richard of Maine and Laurence (Lori) Barton of Randolph; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren,

nieces and nephews.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Oak Grove for the care they gave him during his illness. There will not be any public services as this was Stephen's wishes.
