Yvonne Y. Hebert

Yvonne was born on November 1, 1920, the daughter of Thomas and Lumina Pelotte. She was the survivor of 12 children.

Yvonne fostered many children as well as cared for her nieces and nephews as her own. Yvonne was a caregiver for many of her family and friends. She was loved and respected by many.

Yvonne was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Rosary Sodality and was chaplin of the American Legion Women’s Auxillary in the 1980”s. She loved sewing and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and loved going to eat at restaurants with her children.

Yvonne is survived by her four daughters; Donna Dostie and husband Gabe, Jean King, Judy McQuillan and her husband Rory and Darlene McInnis and her husband Chris and her son Max Sheehan and his wife Peggy and a special nephew whom she raised as her son from the age of 3 Gerald Remy and his wife Marilyn. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her 3 husbands Eugene Rodrigue, Harold Sheehan and Lawrence Hebert, a daughter and a grandson.

Visitation will be held at Veilleux Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, May 3. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 4 at 11 Am at Sacred Heart Church in Waterville followed by committal prayers at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
