

Frank was born in Montour Falls, NY on June 11th, 1947, the son of the late, Harold James and Helen B. (Lockwood) Cunningham. Frank enjoyed fishing, watching and collecting cartoons and western movies, John Wayne being his favorite. He was an avid Yankees fan but also loved football and basketball. Frank could always tell you sports statistics. He had proposed to his wife, Mary at a dinner on Valentine’s Day 2004 with a candy heart that read “Marry Me” and they were married on December 17th, 2005.
Frank is survived by his wife of 9 years, Mary (Harrison) Cunningham of Elmira; his special friend, Frankie the Beagle; siblings, Walter James (Eva) Cunningham of Addison, Janet Switzer of Watkins Glen, Marge Cunningham of Monterey, John (Ramona) Cunningham of Watkins Glen, and Mary (Joe Mattison) Cunningham of Monterey; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; cousins; and his good friend, Steve Aldrich of Monterey.
Friends and family may call from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at the Haughey-Wood Funeral Home, 119 5th St., Watkins Glen, NY 14891; where a memorial service celebrating his life will be held following at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to the Humane Society of Schuyler County, PO Box 427, Montour Falls, NY 14865.
