Joanne Wallace Johnson was a longtime resident of Wayne. She passed on July 13, 2015 at the age of 85. She was a cherished public school teacher and active member of First United Methodist Church in Wayne. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Johnson for 60 years. The loving mother of Richard Jr., Elizabeth Anne, James Robert, and Marianne Mayer and the proud grandma of Dave and Scott Johnson, Rachel and Tom Mayer, and Jessie and Katie Griffith.
Joanne's life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service at First United Methodist Church of Wayne, 3 Town Square Street in Wayne, on September 19, 2015 at 11:00 am.

Luncheon will be held after the service at Rose’s Restaurant and Lounge 201 N. Canton Center Road, Canton MI 48187 starting at 1:30 pm.
