Judy earned her master’s degree in education from the University of Las Vegas and devoted many years of her life to teaching with the Clark County School District before retiring. Education was not just her profession, but a lifelong passion.
In her free time, Judy found joy in the quiet pleasures of life. She was an avid reader, especially fond of mystery novels. She loved board games and card games, Yahtzee, Rummy, and Hearts were among her favorites. She also enjoyed solving and assembling puzzles.
Judy is survived by her loving son, Matthew, and her cherished grandchildren, Ethan and Abby, who will continue to carry her memory forward.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Martha Marks; her son, Mark; and sister Joanne Sawyer.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held at this time.
