Just received the news on Larry....my BEST to the FAMILY. I feel bad about missing the services of an old friend. His and my Dad were friends dating back to the original Chums in Belleville during World War 2 . Yes, I knew Larry BEFORE he was King of the Donuts ! I would stop & see him in the wee hours of the AM while he was making the donuts. We would talk sports. He was always up on everything. He should have had his own talk-show ! Larry was one GREAT GUY, a GREAT PERSON & anyone who had him for a friend can consider themselves LUCKY. I know I sure do. GOD BLESS YOU Larry, you will be missed. Save me a spot on the bench up there so we can catch up. Your Old Pal, Ed McCahill

Chum was one of my fondest memories of my childhood, he was my Football coach and he was the definition of a Character he was a even better person I enjoyed stopping in the donut shop and visiting/reminiscing I'm certain that I am not alone in saying that the world is a duller place without him, my prayers go to his family. Heaven is a Brighter place today.

Uncle Larry was a very wonderful man. Even though he felt terrible for years, he always put on a brave face and made us all laugh with his stories and funny personality! He made our Stockwell Reunions so much fun! One reunion I told Mark, my husband, that Uncle Larry had just had a health issue so when he took them on a boat ride to go slow and take it easy. Twenty minutes later I hear this crazy boat coming by going a million miles an hour! I look up and there's Uncle Larry waving and laughing! He had told Mark to do that!
We will all remember him always and think of him in Heaven together again with his siblings and parents making them all laugh! We will miss you Uncle Larry.
Love you, Sandy
