

On June 6, 2023 Paul Gary Perrine, a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend lost his battle with mental illness and XMEA. Paul left this world at age 52 to his final home in heaven with God.
Paul was the oldest of four children, and son of Gary and Marilyn Perrine. He was born in Southfield, Michigan; but grew up in Garden City, Michigan and graduated from Garden City High School in 1989. In high school, Paul earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and participated in school plays as well as some sports. He attended college at Wayne State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Radio-Television in 1994. He also attended the University of Phoenix online from 2004-2006 and received a Master of Arts in Education & Secondary Teacher Education. He worked at various jobs including ITT Technical Institute and worked as a part-time substitute teacher/teacher for 12 years throughout Wayne County.
Paul married Leslie LeGree on June 24, 1995 and together had two daughters, Jenna in 1996 and Lynnea in 2002.
Paul's pastimes were working in the yard, taking care of his home, spending time with family and his dog Picco, singing and greeting at church, playing guitar, listening to rock-and-roll and Christian music, and watching sports. He was a die-hard Michigan Wolverines fan. His closest friends were from Life Church Canton, where he felt accepted.
Paul is survived by his wife Leslie (LeGree) Perrine, his daughters Jenna Perrine and Lynnea Perrine, his mother Marilyn (Malak) Perrine, his father Gary Perrine, his brothers Keith Perrine and David Perrine, and his sister Christina Perrine.
