Phyllis Irene Fahringer Hayes

She is the mother of Charles Fahringer, Shirley (Peredur) Jones, Mary (Sean) Merlino and Charles (Janice) McIntyre. Phyllis is the granny to Ryan and Ian Fahringer, Maria Merlino and Aidan and Torin McIntyre. She is the sister of Ila Rose (Neal) Roberts and John E. Fahringer, Jr., and was preceded in death by her sister the late Joyce(the late Donald) Eminger and her brother the late Ronald Fahringer. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Phyllis worked for the City of Westland Housing Commission and Community Development for 22 years and enjoyed bingo, Facebooking, games, CB Radio,being a Red Apple groupie and most of all making people happy.

Friends may visit Phyllis’s family during a visitation in her honor on Wednesday November 28, 2012 from 3-9 pm and on Thursday November 29, 2012 from 9 am until 9 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Avenue in Wayne Michigan, 48184. Services will be held in her memory during the visitation on Thursday at 7 pm and on Friday November 30, 2012 at 12 noon. Friends may visit Friday from 9 am until her service at 12 pm. Following her service at noon at the funeral home, she will be laid to rest with her family at Glenwood Cemetery in Wayne, Michigan. The Dorsey Center will host a gathering immediately following the service at the cemetery.
