

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank H. Wall (d.1946) and the late Raymond A. Borowski (d.1987). Loving mother of Bonnie (the late Michael) Shust and Michael John Borowski. Dear grandmother of Michael (Patricia) Shust and Timothy (Marie) Shust. Great-grandmother of Adam Michael Shust.
Sophie was born in Detroit, Michigan, the only child of the late John and Helen Konieczka. She worked in sales for J.C. Penny in Northland Mall for many happy years until she retired. Sophie loved her job and spoke of it often. She also enjoyed shopping, cats and socializing with her friends at Minock Meadows.

The Funeral Service, led by Father Jack Baker, will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 1:00pm also at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Wayne Chapel.
Sophie will be laid to rest with her two late husbands in Denton Cemetery, Van Buren Township, Michigan following the funeral service.
Sophie was very dedicated to the research and funding of mental health charities. She actively volunteered for many years for NAMI, helping with fund raising as well as working events and activities. NAMI is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives and support those with mental illness and their families. To provide coping mechanisms in the daily struggle with the devastating consequences of these illnesses. NAMI's goals are to dispel the ignorance and pervasive stigma relating to brain disorders and to advocate for more research and an improved system of mental health services across the nation.
