Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Thomas E. Brothers and Margaret J. Brothers. He is survived by his children, Emily (Brandon) Stonebraker and Michael (Sabrina) Brothers. His siblings, Karyn (Dennis) Finley, Nancy (Walter) Ash, Mark (Elissa) Brothers, and Keith Brothers as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Tom was born in Wayne, Michigan and raised in Westland, Michigan. He graduated in 1978 from Wayne Memorial High School. He started working at General Motors at the age of 18 and retired in 2008.
He loved bowling, hunting, fishing, baking, gardening, golfing, skiing, playing euchre with his family and friends, going to sports games and just spending quality time with those he loved. He is remembered as a loving, caring, and down to earth man. He would do anything he could to help others and will be deeply missed by those he touched in his life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory may be made to The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 34567 Michigan Avenue, Wayne, Michigan 48184, followed by a sharing of memories/eulogies at 7:00 PM.
