Alma Ruth Ferguson McCray

Born April 23, 1926 in Belle Point, WV, she was the daughter of the late George Shelly and Daisy (Farley) Lyons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl W. Ferguson, Sr.; son, Carl W. Ferguson, Jr.; four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Lynn (Ferguson) Shifflett; grandchildren, Carl W. Ferguson, III and wife, Angie, Tarah Ferguson Coffey and husband, J.R., Tiffany Ferguson, Nikki Daniels and Michelle Fox; seven great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Augusta Memorial Park. Following the graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Basic United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Gibson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
