

Born May 14, 1946 in Cheverly, MD, she was a daughter of the late Allen Rodgers and Mary Frances (Krietzer) Fretwell.
Prior to retirement, Becky was employed by Wayne Lanes Bowling Alley where she worked as a cook for many years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Woodwardville, MD. Her greatest happiness in life was spending time with her family. Becky was known for her bake goods, knitting and crocheting, crafting, and canning. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Irving Crawford; three sisters, Kathy Evans, Violet Clark, and Wanda Munro.
Survivors include her three daughters, Gina Watkins and husband, Bill, of Baltimore, MD, Dawn Gochenour and husband, Scott, of Waynesboro, and Olivia Cardwell and husband, Brian, of Odenton, MD; two grandsons, Malcolm Crawford and John Cardwell; three sisters, Linda Balsley and husband, Paul, Suzanne Gutt and husband, Phil, and Julia Painter and husband, Paul; two brothers, Allen Fretwell, Jr. and wife, Barbara, and Steven Fretwell and wife, Melissa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro. Following the visitation, there will be a funeral procession from the funeral home to Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro for a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Malcolm Crawford, John Cardwell, Jimmy Evans, Tony Evans, Chris Gutt, Clinton Painter, Chad Wilfong, and Allen Fretwell, III.
