Charlene Scott Leake

Charlene Scott (Fauber) Leake, 97, of Waynesboro, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Charlene was born in New Jersey to the late William and Una (Larrabee) Fauber on November 4, 1919. She was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church. Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Leake, Sr. and a brother, William C. Fauber. Survivors include her sons, James E. Leake, Jr., William Montelle “Bo” Leake and Howard Fauber Leake; grandsons, Christopher Todd Leake and Jonathan D. Leake; three great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Isca Mitchell officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
