

Charles Larry Carver, 68, of Waynesboro passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Augusta Health. He was born in Akron, Ohio on March 5, 1949, a son of the late Charles Lewis and Dorothy Lou (Higgins) Carver.
Charles was a devoted member of Destiny Family Center in Stuarts Draft. He worked for the City of Waynesboro until his retirement. Charles will be remembered for his joking personality. His hobbies included yardwork, fishing and camping but Charles’s greatest passion in life was spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Charles was greeted into Heaven by his daughter-in-law, Dannon Offenberger. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Debra Lynn Carver of Waynesboro; children, Crystal (Carver) Miller and husband, Chuck, Gabriel Offenberger all of Marietta, Ohio, and Chad Carver and wife, Trina of Waynesboro; god son, Allen Watson and wife, Sarah of Staunton; grandchildren, Matthew Offenberger and wife, Bre, Alex Offenberger, Rissah Buracchio and husband, Rick, Shelby Offenberger, Aidan Carver, Brooklynn Carver, Douglas Carver and Trenton Carter; great grandchildren, Brylar Miller, Brandtley Miller and Jace Offenberger; brothers, Garry Carver of Marietta, Ohio and James Carver of New Matamoras, Ohio; a special sister-in-law, Cathy Miller; special “brother”, Bubba Crowder; as well as numerous extended family and Charles’s Destiny Family.
Charles also leaves behind his four legged friend, Bella and fur grandbaby, Cali.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Destiny Family Center, 36 Rose Ave., Stuarts Draft, with Pastor Chuck Balsamo officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made in Charles’s memory to Destiny Family Center, c/o Coree Balsamo’s Mission Trip Fund.
