Charles Leslie Chittum

Charles was born in Waynesboro to Rachel (Morris) Rowe and Ernest T. Chittum on January 24th, 1962. Charles was a wonderful, loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked for his entire adult life as a drywaller, doing jobs all over Augusta County, including Kate Collins Middle School. When not working, Charles loved spending time with his family and watching NASCAR.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Chittum; his stepfather, Stephen Rowe; stepmother, Bonnie; and two brothers, Larry Chittum and Stephen Rowe Jr.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Juanita Chittum of Staunton; his mother, Rachel Rowe of Staunton; his daughter, Tuesday Chittum of Staunton and her fiancé, Michael Ryder; two stepdaughters, Sabrina McClear and fiancé Donald Dudley of Waynesboro, and Samantha Branch of Staunton; as well as his brother, Kenneth Chittum. He is also survived by many grandchildren, including Savannah Eye and husband Steven of Staunton, Chance, Tyler, Carly, Brooklynn, Macalynn, Lilly, Sadie, Sawyer and Stella.
