Debra J. Cusson

Born September 15, 1960 in Newport News, VA she was the daughter of the late William E. and Myrna (Kounse) Sornborger. On September 15, 1995 she married the love of her life and best friend, Charles “Chuck” Cusson. The two shared a blessed union of 18 years together.

Debra was a woman of faith and a member of Clearview Church, Fishersville. She was a 1979 graduate of Waynesboro High School. Being the natural caregiver that she was, she spent seven years devoted to raising and spending as much time with her grandchildren, Patrick and Gabriella, as she could. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and watching sports with her husband. She will be remembered by those who knew her as a devoted wife, loving mother and sister and dedicated grandmother.

In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her daughter, Angela Eutsler and husband, Randy of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Patrick and Gabriella Eutsler; step-children, Erica, Jessica and Michael Cusson all of Staunton and Sierra Cusson of Waynesboro; step-grandchildren, Jaylin Redman and Jeremiah and Jaleigha Cusson; siblings, William C. “Cliff” Wolfe and wife, Elaine of Pennsylvania, Glenna L. Cason and husband, Jerry of Fishersville, Charles H. “Charlie” Wolfe and wife, Debbie of Waynesboro and William E. “Billy” Wolfe and wife, Robin of Waynesboro.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., with Pastor John Hamric officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be her nephews, Josh Wolfe, Brandon Wolfe, Mike Cason, Jeremy Cason, Mike Wolfe and Aaron Czimmer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the funeral home.

The family would like to send a special heartfelt thank you to Richard and Debbie Fitzgerald, Charlotte Fisher, April Czimmer, Barb Morris and the staff of Legacy Hospice for their love and care for Debra over the last 18 months.
