Doris Hiner

Doris enjoyed baking, walking, biking, going to the beach and flying. She was a longtime member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Louise Hiner; siblings, Beatrice Hidy, Warren J. Hidy, Wallace W. Hidy, Edith L. Livick and Arbutus Livick.

Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years, James. O. Hiner; two sisters, Yvonne Smith of Ohio, Priscilla Ann Argenbright of Waynesboro; two god-grandchildren, Eben Dowling and Katrina Janney.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Patrick Pettit. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Bobby Meek, Ronnie Meek, Benny Flory, Doug Argenbright, Jeff Hiner and John Anderson.

There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
