Douglas Walker Cash

He was born January 20, 1944 a son to the late Wallace C. and Della Monroe Cash.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence, Harold, Edward and Dennis, sisters; Dorothy, Marjorie, Frances and Janet.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn Cash, two sons; Douglas Cash of Fishersville, Jeff Cash of Fishersville, a daughter, Janet Gomez (Robert) of Fishersville, three brothers; Donald Cash, Wayne Cash, Lyle Cash, eight grandchildren; Angel Binder, Trevor Cash, Jessi Cash, Hayley Gomez, Morgan Gomez, Dellaney Gomez, Skyler Cash, Addison Cash, Bella Page, three great grandchildren; Krista Floyd, Kaylee Binder and Ethan Binder.

A service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Cornerstone Church of Augusta by Pastor Luke Smith. Burial will follow in Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ricky Cash, Kyle Cash, Steve Grimm, Jason Adkins, Larry Curtis, Scotty Cash, Justin Leach and Steve Cash.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Holmes, Chuck Cusson and David Caywood.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 PM Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
