Edward Hughes Kahle

Born July 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Cecil P. Kahle and Kathryn Hughes Kahle. On October 1, 1982 he married Lucille M. Engstrom.

Edward graduated from Oil City High School Class of 1960. He served his country honorably with the U.S. Navy from 1963-1967. He worked in distribution and transportation all of his life. He spent 23 years with Ethan Allen Furniture, retired from Estes Express in 2008, and was the owner of Past Reflections Antiques for over 40 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, John Engstrom.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille M. Engstrom; children, Kelly Kahle of Nelson County, VA, Eric Kahle of Sherman, NY, and Harold Engstrom of Waynesboro, VA; grandchildren, Gavin Kahle, Brayden Kahle, Bryant Jackson, Kennedy Kahle, Rachel Kennedy, Holly Engstrom, Cassandra Tomlin, Mindy Engstrom, and Julie Engstrom; and five great-grandchildren, Eva Jackson, Jensen Jackson, Madeline Smith, LuLu Engstrom, and GG Engstrom.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no formal visitation.
