Born September 21, 1954 in Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Edward James Evans, Sr. and Rose May (Reed) Evans.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anthony Lola, Jr.; and two sisters, Josephine Evans and Phyllis Evans.
Survivors include her daughter, Mae Burnett (Rodney Morris) of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren, Travis Burnett, William Lola, Jason Lola, Raven Wood, Payton Wood, Chris Richardson, and C.W. Rounds; two great-grandchildren, Ashton and Jackson; five brothers, Edward Evans, Jr., Sammy Evans, Allen Evans, William “Hoppy” Evans, and Patrick Evans; sister, Shirley Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, all services will be held privately at Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper.
