Faye G. Williams

Faye was born on August 11, 1945, a daughter of the late Preston Earl and Helen Christine (Sprouse) Gianniny.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Ivy and retired from the Department of Social Services.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Preston Edward Gianniny.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Williams; son, Matthew Richard Williams of Springfield, Marc Alexander Williams of Jonesboro, AR, Jonathan David Williams of Charlottesville; daughter, Melissa Rosegrant Williams, Adriana Del Pilar Hernandez-Viver; brother, Buck Giannini of Charlottesville; sister, Avis Gianniny Carr of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Owen Russell and Helen Marie Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, 4712 Dick Woods Road, Ivy, with Rev. Emily Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
