Helen Beatrice (Harris) Rexrode

Born September 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George H. Harris and Gertrude (Lyons) Harris.

Helen was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Waynesboro. She was an active volunteer for the American Heart Association and was a member of the Moss Society. Those who knew and adored her will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Samuel Rexrode; five sisters and three brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Survivors include her children, Judy Hanger and husband, Danny, Suzanne Davis and husband, Monk and Betsy Harmon and husband, John; sisters-in-law, Norma Mathis and Isabell Harris; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Second Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jan G. Owen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the homes of her three daughters.
