James Robert Donham

Born January 22, 1942 in Little Rock, AK he was the son of the late Jack Benjamin Donham and Thelma Louise (Pittman) Hudson. On August 1, 1969 he married Donna Maria Hicks. The two shared 52 wonderful years of marriage together.

James was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Waynesboro. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Western State Hospital where he worked as a psychiatric aide for 35 years. He was a U.S. veteran having served his country honorably with the Army. James will be remembered as an avid coin and stamp collector.

Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Hicks Donham; two daughters, Maria Anne Harris (Tom) of CO and Heidi Louise Zatarga of Richmond; two sons, William Thomas Donham of CO and Kelly Rea Donham of WI; 10 grandchildren, Melissa, C.J., Ronnie, Katie, Jonathan, Kyle, Maggie Mae, Sean, Chris, and Mark; a number of great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Kay Davis of ME.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at St. John's Episcopal Church.
