Jeanne Hinton

Mrs. Hinton was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Jeanne worked as a doll maker; she greatly enjoyed her crafts, and was a wonderful cook. She was a devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Rev. Bill Elvis Hinton; two sons, Stephen Hinton and wife, Nancy of Staunton and John Hinton and wife, Debi of Goshen; granddaughter, Tori Via and husband Todd; great grandchildren, Taylor, Teagan and Thatcher Via; sisters-in-law, Margie Shelton of Florida and Annaetta Brown of Kentucky; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Main Street United Methodist Church, 601 W Main St, Waynesboro with Pastor Linda Kusse-Wolfe officiating. Burial will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Augusta Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
