I went to school with Randy and thought he was so kind and nice to everyone.  I am so sorry for your loss and pray that your  memories have and will bring you peace and closure at this time.  I am sorry this is late is coming but I just learned of his passing the other day.  My prayers are with you all.

I saw Randall again after many many years at our high school reunion in October, 2012.   He was so very full of life so it came as a great shock to me to hear of his passing. Dear Lori and Family, I am saddened to hear of Randall's passing.  What a sweet man he was.  I will always remember him before the Lee High /Waynesboro volleyball matches, finding me to give me a hug in the pre-game.  The mark of the man was that I always got a hug post-game too, even if Lee High won!  He always had a kind word for me and me team.  His sportsmanship was genuine and greatly appreciated. I hope your sadness is brief and that you'll smile often when thinking of such a wonderful family man.

I was so sorry to hear of Randall's death.  He always put his heart and soul into everything he did.  I still can hear him cheering at the sporting events.  He will be missed.

Karen,Lori,Randall, and Christine:  I have many memories of your Dad. As a neighbor and all of you growing up with  Brian and Michael, I saw his involvement in your lives. He especially enjoyed the sports events, and gave all of you a respect for working hard to achieve your goals. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

What an honorable man. I have been blessed to have known Randall since grade school. He had such a big heart even back then. As he grew so did his love for fellow man. So sorry to hear of Randall's passing...I grew up knowing both him and his folks, Tommy and Erline.  Randall and I went through school together and have often seen each other around town.  His presence will be missed by many people, but especially his family - his beloved grandchildren who he talked about whenever I saw him. because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

I am so sorry and deeply grieved to hear this news today regarding Randall.  Know that I will be praying for the family.  I grew up with the Fortunes and have known them all very well my whole life. Karen and I are friends from Wilson High School. I know the grief will be difficult in the months ahead but I also take comfort knowing that Randall is now in the presence of his Savior and is experiencing total health, unspeakable joy and absolute life.
