

Josephine Mary Fee, 90, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Fee was born on October 22, 1922 in Canonsburg, PA and was a daughter of the late Louis and Jenny (Abraham) Hervol. She moved to Waynesboro around 1950 and owned and operated Stan’s Grocery on Lyndhurst Road for 60 years. She retired in 2010 at the age of 88. Prior to moving to Waynesboro, she worked for W.S. George Pottery in Washington, PA. She loved her family and loved to sew and garden. She taught three of her granddaughters how to sew and made doll clothes together. She was the best babysitter in the world for her grandchildren. Mrs. Fee was a member of the K.S.K.J. Lodge in Strabane, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Arthur Fee.
Mrs. Fee is survived by a son, Barry Fee and wife Frances of Waynesboro; a daughter, Betty Glass and husband Roger of Waynesboro; two sisters, Angeline Polyansky of Crownsville, MD and Agnes Tomcyk of Strabane, PA; three grandchildren, Lane H. Dedrick II and partner Renee Toler, Kimberly A. Boatner and husband Charlie, Andrew C. Fee and wife Yenny; six great-grandchildren, Stacy Mclaughlin Loving and husband Christopher, Mariah Dedrick Batkins, Brooke Boatner, Kyler Dedrick, Chase Toler, Tannah Toler; and one great-great-grandson, Kaiden Shifflett. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Fee was also preceded in death by four brothers, Louis Hervol Jr., Ludwig Hervol, Henry Hervol, Frank Hervol; and a sister, Olga Kennard.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 2 pm at Augusta Memorial Park with Dr. Paul LaPrevotte officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday November 25, 2012 from 7 until 8 pm at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
