Judith Barbara Joyce, 75, of Port Republic, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2017 at Augusta Health. She was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on December 14, 1942, to the late Albert and Florence Harrison. Judy made Virginia her home in 1964, graduating as a registered nurse from Piedmont Community College in Charlottesville. She served her community as a registered nurse for nearly 50 years and was known by her friends as an avid horse and dog lover. Judy is survived by her three sons, Paul, Scott and Hunter; four grandchildren and many beloved friends who will miss her. A gathering in her memory is planned for the spring.
