Born February 22, 1943 in Rockingham County, he was the son of the late Billie Sunday Royer, Sr. and Ella Grace (Miller) Royer.
Larry owned and operated L.D. Royer Plumbing for over 17 years. He was a member of the Waynesboro Moose Lodge and the North Shore Hunting Club. An avid outdoorsmen, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Royer.
Larry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Frances (Jackson) Royer; sons, Larry Dennis Royer, Jr. and Gregory Scott Royer; siblings, Gary Royer, Billie Royer, Jr. and Ella Jean Mullins and husband, Ricky Dole; one grandson; a number of nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, there will be no formal visitation or services at the funeral home.
