

In loving memory of Margaret Alise Plumb, who passed away peacefully on December 26, 2012. Margaret was born in Waynesboro on November 20, 1931 and was a daughter of the late William “Happy” and Lois Plumb of Waynesboro and where they lived at the Plumb House, 1012 West Main St. now the Plumb House Museum.
Margaret moved to San Diego to follow her teaching career after attending Madison College, now James Madison University.
Home and her family were always foremost in her life, although she spent most of her adult life in San Diego; her home was always in Virginia.
Margaret had three children, Bruce Howard, Ronald Wayne, Cynthia Lynn; son-in-law Hubert; grandsons, Brian Andrew and Kyle James.
Her children and grandsons meant the world to her.
She is also survived by a sister, Sara Ann Dogget and a brother, John Alfred Plumb.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Saturday August 17, 2013 at 11 AM at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Neil Hough officiating. Following the service at the cemetery, a time of fellowship and remembrance with a luncheon will be held at the Plumb House Museum, 1012 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
