Mary Marquis Eagle

Mary was born April 7, 1922 in Mabscott, WV. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Rodriquez) Marquez.

Mary was a member of Waynesboro Wesleyan Church. She was a homemaker all of her life and was a wonderful and loving mother to her three children. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with her dear friend, Margie White. The two enjoyed sewing and quilting together. Mary had two dogs whom she deeply loved and they will truly miss her. Those who knew her will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Newton Eagle, Jr. in 2004 and siblings, Manuel Marquis, Elizabeth Fallon, Ralph Marquis, Charles Marquis and Asuncion Richmond.

Survivors include her three children, Ralph Eagle and wife, Barbara of Bridgewater, VA, John Eagle and friend, Kevin Milam of Charleston, WV and Barbara Pack and husband, Dean of Fishersville, VA; grandchildren, Jeremy Pack, Marcus Pack, Richard Eagle and Melissa Cupp; great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Grace Pack, Ryan and Kyle Eagle and Hannah and Samuel Cupp.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park of Beckley with a graveside service following at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stanley Belcher officiating.

Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.
